Step By Step French Roll Hairstyle

A French Twist is one of the classic hairstyles of all time, it was popular from the 50’s through the early 70’s and then made a big comeback in the 90’s because people could not be without their glamor. A simple updo turns any outfit into spectacular and chic. The Bridgitte Bardot messy updo was a favorite of mine and it was brought back into mainstream fashion by the Iconic Guess Adds Starring Super Models Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford. Those looks still look great today and a big toast to anyone clever enough to sport those fabulous hairstyles. Today more ornate braided twists are worn to weddings and proms and some may be difficult but we found a classic that only requires a few steps.

Directions:

You start by dividing the hair into 2 back ponytails and then get a foam circle divide it in half and secure with a rubber band in the middle then pull your two ponytails through it securing down with hairpins or bobby pins.

A French twist is a common "updo" hair styling technique. It is created by gathering the hair in one hand and twisting the hair upwards until it turns in on itself against the head

Then you sweep both ponytails to the side and secure with a big elastic hairband and start sectioning off the making individual twisted sections.

Then you just tuck in all the stray ends and pin down with bobby pins then decorate the beautiful French Roll Bun Upso as you like. Remember there is no right or wrong way to do this, whatever you want to put on the hair is fine. Real flowers are very beautiful but faux are also wonderful.
