How To Make The Perfect Pancake From A Bottle

Making the perfect circular shape of a pancake can be tricky, but DaveHax on YouTube shows how to make the perfect pancake from a bottle. This cooking life hack can be used to make pancakes or crepes. It’s so convenient because it does not make a mess and you can store the extra pancake mix in the fridge. I think that is my favorite part about this pancake hack because it makes it easier if I want to make extra pancake batter for the next morning. I can’t wait to try this pancake hack to make the perfect pancake from a bottle.

Supplies:

• plastic bottle
• funnel or white paper to use as a funnel

Ingredients:

• 1 cup self-rising flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 2 tbsp granulated sugar
• pinch of salt
• 1 large egg
• 1 cup milk

Directions:

First, take a plastic bottle with a big opening and use a funnel to pour in the flour mixture. Also, you may follow this tutorial for the pancake mix recipe or you can use any pancake mix that you might have at home.

Next, melt the butter in a pan first and then pour in the pancake mixture which should spread out in a nice circle shape. Cook until golden and flip. Continue to watch DaveHax tutorial on YouTube for full instructions and details.

Overall, this is a pretty cool way to make the perfect pancake. I usually make my pancake in a bowl and scoop it with a ladle, but it sometimes makes a deformed shape instead of a circle. I think it’s nice to have this pancake recipe on hand as well instead of buying the box pancake mix because I have all of these ingredients from baking anyways. So, if I ever run out of pancake mix, I can make a homemade one.
