I love making hot glue projects, and my hot glue gun is my favorite tool in my crafts arsenal. I am always on the lookout for a new project that uses hot glue as the main material. Recently I found this awesome shimmery hot glue beads video tutorial by Mark Montano, on YouTube, and it was exactly what I was looking for. These beads look very much like Murano glass and are so much fun to make.
Materials For The Hot Glue Gun Beads:
- A hot glue gun
- Some glue sticks
- Some shish kebab skewers
- Some alcohol ink (in the colors of your choice)
- A bowl of ice water
- Some glitter powder

You begin by putting your hot glue on a kebab skewer, then pouring some alcohol ink over it, and rolling your bead in some glitter powder. You will set those components using a bowl of ice water.
